The chemical plant where you work need a solution of NaOH that has a molarity less than 0.5M. You find a bottle labeled 0.2M but you are unsure if you should use it. A co-worker who makes lots of mistakes tells you that he made the solution using 12g of NaOH in 1L of distilled water. To be on the safe side, you decide to tirtrate 25mL of HCl to determine its concentration. You will use a solution of HCl known to have concentration of 0.5M.
