How to split image file?

I downloaded MATLAB software ,it is in image file of 5.4gb ..how to burn into dvd .. wen ever i insert dvd it say cont burn memory is to less because dvd can store 4.7gb only ..how to split image file into two part so that it can burn n run software ....plz help
